Our baby Cleopatra is almost all grown up now, she’ll be 1 year old in the new year.
This morning I was experimenting with my new Elinchrom studio flashes while trying the impossible: controlling cats. I did manage to get a few decent pictures.
A poor lizard had the bad idea of walking into the house yesterday, and cute & cuddly little Pixie had a field day. She played with it for two hours, until she got bored and went for the kill, while producing a very scary guttural sound. Check the look in her eyes as she killed it, not so cute & cuddly anymore!

We got a little sister for Cleopatra. Pixie is a very small cat that was undernourished and dehydrated when we got her. After one week she’s already doing much better and she’s playing hard with her larger sister. She’s really affectionate too! It’s funny to see this tiny cat hiss and spit at our 75 lbs German Shepherd!
