This was a well kept secret! Never announced (that I know of) and the only rumours I saw were a couple of pictures that leaked yesterday and boom! Today it is officially announced and out comes a couple of reviews at the same time. Looks like it is a beauty, but the price tag is rather steep. It costs the same as the excellent M.Zuiko 7-14mm f/2.8 Pro zoom and isn’t much smaller. It won’t be for me as my main reason to go MFT is for the small size, weight and cost of the lenses. I would have preferred to see something like a 10mm f/2 (MFT is short on primes shorter than 12mm that are not fisheye) at a more reasonable $600 or so. But this will be a great lens for night landscapes, Milkyway and aurora borealis shots.
